Looking Ahead to an Exciting 2013
What does 2013 have in store for you and your dog? Here at German Shepherd Watchdogs, we are looking forward to an exciting year brimming with activity. Below is a glimpse of some of our much-anticipated events for 2013.
Our Schutzhund club will be hosting a spring trial and its annual Dogstock event this year. Additionally, John Riboni will be helping several club members train and prepare their dogs for club trials, for the 2013 Northwestern Regional IPO Championship in September, and for the USCA IPO3 National Championship in November. The National Championship is in California this year, and will be hosted by Way Out West Schutzhund Club in Delhi, CA. This is an event you do not want to miss!
The United States is the host country for the 2013 WUSV World Championship! This event will be held in Philadelphia, PA, from October 16th-20th. This is an amazing opportunity to see some of the top German Shepherd Dogs and top handlers in the world competing in IPO/Schutzhund. The U.S. Team will be determined after several key trials, including the Working Dog Championship in April and the USCA-GSDCA WUSV qualifier trial in June.
John is continuing his involvement with the training and certification of our local police dogs and K9 handlers. We are especially looking forward to our Asko’s training and certification as a patrol dog for the Roseville Police Department.
We are certain 2013 will bring many wonderful opportunities to interact with, train, and love our dogs. We hope this new year has delightful and exciting things in store for you as well!
