German Shepherd Watchdogs would like to congratulate our fellow Placer County Schutzhund Club member Wendy Schmitt and her Doberman Eiko vom Landgraf IPO3 on their strong performance at the 2013 International Doberman Championship in Italy.

As one of the two representatives of Team USA, Wendy and Eiko took 10th place in the world at this championship, with a score of 93 in tracking, 88 in obedience, and 94 in protection, for a total of 275 points.

Breeder-Handler-Owner Trained

Even more impressive is that Eiko is an American-bred Doberman, and is breeder-handler-owner trained (B-HOT)! Wendy not only bred Eiko and raised him from a puppy, but has also trained him and handled him in all his competitions, from BH to World Championship. This is a huge accomplishment! Our club is very proud of all that Wendy and Eiko have accomplished together.

Team USA

Congratulations also to Victoria Hall, our other Team USA member, on her 12th place finish at the IDC. Great job, Team USA! Congratulations on all the hard work, and for representing the United States as this prestigious event! Well done!
